Governed by the Membership. Structured by Law.
Tevah operates as a homeowners association under Florida Statute Chapter 720 and its recorded governing documents. The Association exists to manage shared responsibilities, preserve continuity, and provide a clear framework for decision making.
The authority of the Association rests with its membership. Directors are elected by the members and act collectively at properly noticed meetings.
Tevah is governed by the people who live here.
Board members serve at the direction of the membership and within the authority granted by the governing documents. Decisions are adopted through formal motions and recorded votes.
No individual director or external authority governs independently of this structure.
Governance is procedural, not personal.
Meetings are noticed in advance. Agendas are published. Minutes are recorded and maintained as official Association records.
Amendments to governing documents, recalls of directors, and other member actions occur only through the processes defined by Florida law and the Association’s documents.
The structure of governance at Tevah reflects a commitment to responsible and sustainable community life. By anchoring our community in shared procedures and member-driven accountability, we demonstrate that rural Jewish life can be orderly, resilient, and enduring.
In this way, Tevah seeks not only to sustain itself, but to serve as an example of what thoughtful, values-driven communal life can look like.
